Marvel Fans Rejoice: ‘Rogers: The Musical’ Comes to Disney California Adventure Park in June 2023!
Where and when can we see Rogers: The Musical?
Disney California Adventure Park is gearing up for an exciting new addition in 2023 with the announcement of “Rogers: The Musical.” Set to debut on June 30, 2023, this limited-time engagement musical will take guests on a journey through the story of Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America according to Disney!
“Rogers: The Musical” will showcase Roger’s beginnings during World War II and his transformation into becoming Captain America, with select members of the Avengers joining in the action that we know and love like Peggy Carter, and Nick Fury to name a few.
How long will Roger’s the musical entertainment be available for?
The musical will run for approximately 30 minutes according to Disney, from Tuesday through Saturday most weeks, giving guests ample opportunity to experience the show during their visit to the park. Disney also stated guests will have opportunities to snag merchandise and food and beverage offerings that will be themed to “Rogers: The Musical” closer to the opening date but no specific date for this has been confirmed. Disney fans like myself were surprised at the D23 Expo when Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, had planned for us to enjoy the musical number called “Save the City,” from the Disney+ series “Hawkeye”. It was fun to watch and the performers were on their A game! If this is any indication of what we could be seeing as a musical I think it will be worth watching.
Guests visiting Disneyland California Adventure Park will have the chance to experience the story of Captain America in a whole new way. Songs being covered in this show include the “Star Spangled Man” from the film “Captain America: The First Avenger, and five new original songs!
