Get Ready for Halfway to Halloween at the Disney Parks: Foodie Guide, Haunted Mansion Movie, and More!

Welcome foolish mortals! The time has now begun for Halfway to Halloween at Disney! Get ready for some spook-tacular treats, decor and experiences that are sure to make you scream in delight!

What is Halfway to Halloween at Disney?

Halfway to Halloween is essentially a mid celebration for all things spooky before Halloween time at Disney. Disney has provided fans this year with downloadable wallpapers for the Haunted Mansion! In the past Disney has shown families how to decorate homes to get us in the Halloween spirit (Disney style of course) and of course sharing their foodie guides for what you can expect to treat yourself to! No tricks— promise! 😉

What treats can I get during the Halfway to Halloween at the Disneyland Parks and in Downtown Disney this year?

Here you can find the list of the Disney treats and where to purchase them for this year 2023 so you can make your own game plan to experience these haunting delights at the parks and in downtown Disney.

Will there be any movies coming out by Disney for Halloween?

In case you missed it, Disney announced the release date for their newest movie of the Haunted Mansion beginning July 28, 2023. I am a bit surprised it will be out in theaters sooner rather than in October but you can count me in on watching this early. I consider this film to be a perfect fit for Halloween time. I love the Haunted Mansion and have been lucky enough able to experience the attractions at Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Disneyland Paris.

I can’t wait to watch this movie in theaters and of course I’ll be wearing my Haunted Mansion tee! I love all things spooky and Halloween. If you’ve been following me for sometime you know I go all out every year with my costumes (and yes they are Disney themed!), so I can’t wait for this year!

If you haven’t yet seen the trailer for the Haunted Mansion here it is below from Disney!

In case you missed it, Disney also shared an interview with former Imagineer, Tania McKnight Norris! She had the amazing opportunity to work with Walt Disney in 1965 and helped in contributing to the design of the iconic purple wallpaper us Disney fans have come to know and love.
