Starting on November 11, 2022, the day “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is released all the way through January 8, 2023, you can experience the festivities and culture of Wakanda in the Avengers Campus at Disneyland California Adventure! Here you will be able to sample food, view some of the original movie props, and take pictures with a special art installation in the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim.
A new and temporary addition to the Disneyland California Adventure Park will be meeting M’Baku, one of Wakanda’s greatest warriors as he makes his way through Avengers Campus.
Right next to Avengers Campus, The Black Panther Celebration Garden will pay homage to the Black Panther’s legacy in Wakandan mythology. It will be located just a few steps from the Collector’s Fortress.
Don’t miss out on the “Flavors of Wakanda” marketplace, which is located on the Hollywood Backlot. You will get the chance to explore spicy, rich traditional African food while getting a taste of Wakanda’s vivid culture. I am personally looking forward to trying the Peri-Peri Chicken with yellow Jollof rice, Butterfly Pea Tea Lemonade, the Dawa cocktail made with vodka (for a little bit of that extra Wakandan kick), lemonade, honey, ginger beer, and butterfly pea tea.
Another tasty treat in store for you is the Wakandan Roasted Pork Wrap at Shawarma Palace inside Avengers Campus, which has spiced pork with black garlic sauce and chermoula.
