Nostalgia—the feeling you will experience undoubtedly when watching the World of Color show at Disneyland California Adventure (DCA)! This is one of our favorite entertainment shows Disney has created and we highly recommend you plan to watch it during your Disney trip.
In this show you will get to experience some of your favorite film scenes from Disney and Pixar come to life through a mist of water that is paired up with beautiful colors and sounds leaving you in awe and believing in the magic all over again.
You must have a valid reservation to Disneyland California Adventure to watch this show. This show lasts 22 minutes and is scheduled for 9:00pm and 10:15pm from now until June 20,2022 at the time of this publication. However we have experienced crowds beginning to form on the sidelines for viewing about two and a half hours before it starts! If you can, we highly recommend signing up for the virtual queue as soon as possible to snag a coveted viewing spot and have the rest of your day to ride other attractions and make other memorable magical moments. Be aware that each guest must have a valid queue for entry.

If you want a premium view (without having to be worried about waiting on the sidelines or about entering the virtual queue) you may want to reserve a dining package for lunch or dinner at the Wine Country Trattoria or for the Dinner Buffet at Storytellers Cafe which is located on the property of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. This will allow you access to a reserved spot at Paradise Gardens Park for viewing the show.
You will need to inform your host or server that you are wanting to purchase the dining package for this. This package is not currently offered online nor is it on the Disney mobile app. These packages are available while supplies last. The pricing for each guest for either lunch or dinner is $59 for children ages 10 + and for children ages 3 to 9 the price is $35 and the same pricing applies to the Dinner Buffet but does not include tax, gratuity, alcohol or other upgrades you may select.
Another option that may interest you, if you are a sweets fanatic, is joining the World of Color Dessert Party with pricing being $89 per guest. You will be able to enjoy desserts and cheeses, including 2 alcoholic beverages for those aged 21+ and unlimited soft drinks and bottled water. This will also give you access to the preferred viewing area at Paradise Gardens Park to see the World of Color show at Disneyland California Adventure.
This show may be subject to change without notice. We have done both viewings and have found that the later viewing time is less crowded, but for those of you with little ones, the earlier show may be preferable.
