‘Wondrous Journeys’ details released by Disney for its debut to Disneyland starting Jan 27
Disneyland will be celebrating its 100th anniversary at the Disneyland Park starting January 27, 2023! The Walt Disney Company has informed us that there will be a new and extremely unique nighttime spectacular called Wondrous Journeys.
This nighttime spectacular will commemorate all of the special moments in Disney films that we all know and love. According to Disney Parks Blog, Wondrous Journeys will showcase some of our favorite characters and their stories like “Encanto, Hercules, The Princess and the Frog, Peter Pan, Frozen, Treasure Planet, Big Hero 6, Moana and more”.
An entire new song will be featured during this spectacular that will surely leave us feeling that magic truly exists in the world! Thanks to a variety of artists, amazing storytellers and music I believe this is going to be an experience that no one will forget! It will literally be history in the making for the Disneyland Park!
Wondrous Journeys nighttime spectacular will also include special lighting effects according to Disney Parks Blog! Of course I will be at the Disneyland Park during its debut! The show is estimated to last 13 minutes and is likely to start at 9:30pm given other nighttime spectacular event times. Make sure to watch to catch its final performance of this year on August 31, 2023 as Disney will be making way for the spooky season of Halloween time starting September 2023 as well as the famous after dark event of the Oogie Boogie Bash. If you are planning to visit the happiest place on earth during the Wondrous Journeys nighttime spectacular debut on January 27, 2023, there are a few places you can pick from for viewing this according to Disney Parks Blog: “Main Street, U.S.A, Sleeping Beauty Castle, the facade of ‘It’s a Small World’, and the Rivers of America”.
However, on select nights this nighttime spectacular will be accompanied by fireworks! This means it is likely to happen during the weekend, as this when most guests are visiting the Disneyland Park in my experience.
