When is Toontown Reopening at Disneyland?
Excitement is building as the opening of Toontown at Disneyland approaches for March 19, 2023, and Disney has just provided a sneak peek of the treats that will be available to guests!
What types of food options will be new and available at Toontown?
Two new locations will be made available to us in ToonTown called Cafe Daisy and Good Boy! Grocers. Over at Cafe Daisy’s guests will be able to enjoy treats from Disney culinary teams and their food items can be made via mobile order (lucky us because it’s a time saver, if you know, you know!).
Disney has stated that there will be options catered to adult guests with items such as “The Daisy’s Dressed up Dog […that has] an all-beef foot-long hot dog, chili-cheese sauce, Mac & Cheese, and parmesan potato crisps with house-made chips”.
If pizza is your regular go to then you should check out “The Cheesy Pizza Flop-Over” which includes “mozzarella and provolone with tomato sauce”. Or they have a “Pepperoni Pizza Flop-Over” option as well.
Will there be plant based options for food at Toontown?
For those guests who are searching for more plant based options, you may want to try out the “Spring Garden Wrap” that includes a mixture of “romaine and quinoa into a warp with creamy lemon dressing and toasted pumpkin seeds accompanied with house made chips!”
What food options will be available for my kids at Toontown?
Of course Disney can’t forget your little ones, and they have created a “Cheese Please! Pizza” or the “Pepperoni Please! Pizza” option for them. They also will have offerings for “bite-size Minnie’s Mini corn dogs and the tasty Mini Mac and Cheesy”.
What snack options will I have over at Toontown?
If snacking is your game, then they have ‘Tater Chips‘ that are house made accompanied by a chili-cheese sauce as an add on option to your meal. You can also expect to find “pickles, Mini Babybel snack cheese, […] gluten-allergy-friendly cookies, fruit bars, whole fruit” and more over at Toontown.
Will there be any new beverages available at Toontown?
If you are wanting to sip back and relax taking in the sights of Toontown, then you can grab the following refreshments: “The Picnic Time Watermelon Lemonade […with] Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade, watermelon premium syrup, and watermelon gummies”, or for coffee lovers try out the “Specialty Cold Brrr-ew […with] Caramel Mudslide Cold Brew from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co. with sea salt and whipped topping”.
Will there be any new sweet treats over at Toontown?
If you are needing some sugar in your system then the dessert of “The Daisy’s Goody-Goody Donuts with cinnamon sugar” can satisfy your sweet tooth. I can’t wait to try this and compare them to the famous donuts offered from the Lamplight Lounge restaurant over at Disneyland California Adventure (DCA) Park.
Special merchandise at Toontown
If you need to have all of the Disney merchandise then make sure to snag the “Perfect Picnic Basket”! This will include three snack size items to pick from like the “Cuties Mandarin Orange, yogurt smoothie, applesauce, granola bar, gluten-allergy-friendly fig bar and more”. Additionally you will also get a beverage of your choice from a “small DASANI water or Minute Maid Juice Box”. Love the theme given that Disney has finally given us the Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!
