At the Plaza Inn, you can purchase the Halloween Screams Dining Package, that will give you a chance to enjoy a full meal while also getting access to guaranteed seating for the famous Halloween Screams Nighttime Spectacular at the Disneyland Resort. It’s a perfect blend of food and entertainment for this Halloween season! I often do dine at the Plaza Inn since I enjoy their food. Given that this show is limited for the spooky season, I would say it may be worth purchasing if you are not a local. Many guests who come to visit Disneyland during Halloween time to see this particular show often will camp out for hours to watch this show! I think you’re far better off planning your day with attractions and not stressing over getting a great spot if you already plan on dining inside of Disneyland which is a win-win! Just be prepared for the cost if you’re planning on doing this dining package as a group (e.g., friends, family).

How Much Does the Plaza Inn Halloween Screams Dining Package Cost at Disneyland in 2023?

Keep in mind that dining is per person and for adults, it’s $60, and for kids (ages 3 to 9), it’s $30. According to Disney, if you have a Magic Key (i.e., annual pass) or if you’re a Cast Member (CM), you’ll be able to get your applicable discount. Different magic key passes offer different discounts. Please note that you must have a valid ticket to enter the park and reservation for that day to then book the dining package. When you buy a Dining Package, you’ll get a pass that lets you into the show area. But remember, each person in your group needs their own pass.

Is there assigned seating for the Halloween Screams Dining Package?

You are able to sit wherever you find a table at the Plaza Inn and there are no assigned seating for this reservation/booking. Make sure you arrive to pick up your meal with the time you picked for your reservation which will range from a dining time between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

What kind of meals are offered at the Plaza Inn for the Halloween Screams Dining Package at Disneyland in 2023?

According to Disney, adults and children can enjoy the following meals listed below.

• Adult Meal: Short Rib in Cabernet Sauce with Bacon-Cheddar Mash, Charred Scallion Chimichurri and Roasted Broccolini, served with Hibiscus Lemonade and Specialty Dessert
• Child Meal: Chicken Tenders, Bacon-Cheddar Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, and a Dessert, with choice of small DASANI® Water or small Low-Fat Milk
• Dessert Options: Specialty Dessert—Layers of Green Peppermint Mousse and Crushed Chocolate Cookie Crumbles topped with Gummy Worms and Oogie Boogie Decoration

If I book the Halloween Screams Dining Package, where will I get to see the show from?

Upon purchasing this dining package, a cast member will provide you with an exclusive pass that will allow you entry into the designated viewing spot to view the Halloween Screams Nighttime Spectacular which is currently listed on Disney’s site as the “northside of the outdoor Plaza Inn patio”. You’ll be given a lanyard with that pass. Do not lose this because without it you will not be able to enter the area and there is no way to track your previously made purchase so keep it safe until the showtime. The pass will only works for the showtime on the same day as your meal.

How do you book a reservation for the Halloween Screams Dining Package at the Plaza Inn at Disneyland?

You can make your dining reservations online or through the Disneyland app which is highly recommended as many guests will want to book for this experience. However if you’re feeling spontaneous, you might be able to get a reservation on the same day, but there’s only a limited number available and no guarantees. So, it’s a good idea to plan ahead and book your reservation.

Things to keep in mind if you plan on booking:

• According to Disney’s policies, “packages and vouchers may not be refunded, redeemed for cash, sold or exchanged for different dates or times”.
• Early and late arrivals are not accommodated so be sure to get there no earlier than 10 minutes before your reservation time to view the show.
• If you’d like to be seated with other parties it will depend on seating availability.

If you get lost or are unsure where to go to view the show, just ask one of the Cast Members nearest you. Please be kind to them and they will assist you. I highly recommend you plan to arrive on time, so that you can get a great view and not miss any of the spooky fun!

When can I book for the Halloween Screams Dining Package at the Plaza Inn?

This special experience is available only on Fridays and Saturdays starting from September 1, 2023, through October 28, 2023, and also on Halloween night, October 31, 2023. The most popular date, I’m sure you can guess is Halloween night. So if you plan on being there then, book it as soon as you are able to!

Select a date and time you would like to eat, between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM to get your meal. And you can sit at any open table at the Plaza Inn Restaurant.

How to make changes to the Halloween Screams Dining Package at the Plaza Inn

If you need to change your plans or to make modifications you must use the My Dining and Activity Reservations or go through the Disneyland app by selecting the option tab “Future Plans.” According to Disney’s policy if you do not cancel at least one day before the date you’ve selected as your reservation there will be a $10 per person cancellation fee. If you do not cancel within the allowed time frame and do not arrive (i.e., are a “no show”) the credit card that you gave at the time of reservation will be charged.
