From September 29, 2023, through October 1, 2023, Disney is offering an exclusive presale event for its magic key holders. This limited-time offer allows you to get a head start on your holiday shopping. To participate, you must visit the World of Disney Store located in Disney’s Downtown District in Anaheim, California. But here’s the catch – you won’t be able to purchase items and take them home immediately. Instead, you’ll need to use the Disneyland app and their mobile order service system.

How to purchase the presale Disney Christmas items as a Magic Key Holder

• Use the Disneyland App: Ensure you have the Disneyland app installed on your mobile device. If you don’t already have it, download it from your app store.
• Link Your Magic Key: Make sure your magic key is linked to your Disneyland app and that you are signed in.
• Select Your Items: Browse the exclusive holiday merchandise and select the items you wish to purchase. To streamline the process, Disney has implemented its mobile order service system.
• Mobile Order: Use the mobile order service system to complete your purchase. You will be given options for a return window time, similar to when you order food items.
• Discounts Applied: If you have any eligible discounts for the select items, they will be automatically applied during the checkout process.

Here is the fine print you need to know about if you plan on buying the Christmas/holiday merchandise during Disney’s presale for Magic Key Holders

• You must pick up your purchased holiday items on the same day at the World of Disney Store in Disney’s Downtown District in Anaheim.
• Disney states in their terms and conditions that if you do not arrive to collect your items by the end of the day of your purchase, the items will be returned, and you will receive a refund.
• If you plan to visit only for the purpose of grabbing your holiday merchandise, don’t forget that parking fees apply! You can get validated parking with reduced rates if you dine in one of the nearby restaurants. Otherwise, the standard parking rates will apply, reflecting the time you spend.
• However if you are a Disney Magic Key holder with the Inspire key, remember that your parking is included in your pass so you can go there while you shop!

Availability for the Christmas/holiday merchandise during Disney’s presale for Magic Key Holders and Location Limitations

Keep in mind that this exclusive presale opportunity is only available to those in close proximity to the Disney parks. The message you will get from the app will say the following if you aren’t nearby: “You’re too far away. Please move closer to World of Disney and try again.”
