How to get EARLY ACCESS to Disneyland and California Adventure

Ever wanted to get early access to Disneyland or Disneyland California Adventure? The term “Rope Drop” means you arrive at the parks right when they open at 8:00 am. But do you know what’s better than Rope Drop? Getting to be inside the Disney parks 30 minutes before everyone else!

Here’s how to get early access to Disneyland according to Disneyland.com. If you have a valid hotel stay at either the Disneyland Hotel, the Disneyland Grand Californian Hotel, or the Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel AND a park reservation. This early access begins TODAY, August 8th, 2022. If you’re reading this now, you can already take advantage of that access!

Let me tell you, getting to the Disney Parks at Rope Drop is FANTASTIC because the attraction lines don’t start to get really long until about 30 to 40 minutes into the park opening at 8:00 am. That means when you’re there at Rope Drop, you can get on two or three rides within your first hour with minimal wait times.

And that’s just regular Rope Drop. With the early access, you will be in the parks at 7:30 am instead and only with other people who have valid hotel stays. This means that for 30 minutes, you will essentially have the entirety of the Disney Parks to yourself!
