Disney fans around the world eagerly anticipated the release of Oogie Boogie Bash 2023 tickets, which went on sale today, July 11th, at 9 am PT. The excitement was palpable as this resale came after a temporary pause due to severe glitches on the Disney website during the original general sale date set for June 29th. Despite initial setbacks, the highly sought-after tickets sold out, leaving many fans thrilled but also disappointed. In this article, I’ll explore the event’s ticketing journey, the challenges faced, and how you can plan for a magical experience even without tickets.
A Chaotic Ticket Sale Experience
The original general sale public date for Oogie Boogie Bash tickets was set for June 29th but was postponed due to severe glitches on the Disney website. Fans were eagerly anticipating the new sale date, with rumors going around that the sale was set for July 6th! This was false information that I addressed on my YouTube channel that you can watch here.
Today, at 9 am PT, the tickets finally became available for purchase. However, the high demand caused significant traffic on the website, leading to some level of stress for many of us.
The Virtual Queue Line and Initial Sold-Out Dates
Throughout the ticketing process, Disney periodically provided announcements in the virtual queue line, informing guests of dates that were no longer available. The first sold-out date was for October 8, 2023, followed by September 28th, October 12th, October 15th, and October 19th. Disney also acknowledged limited availability for certain dates, causing stress among potential guests. By 3:43 pm, the list of sold-out dates grew tremendously. By 8:15 pm today on July 11th the tickets were officially sold out. This left those without tickets feeling disappointed for wanting to attend this magical Halloween celebration at Disneyland Resort this 2023 year. If you’re one of the lucky attendees who managed to snag a ticket, congratulations! The Oogie Boogie Bash promises an unforgettable Halloween celebration at Disney.
